Mood is nominated for an award!

Hello all, sorry it has been such a long time since I blogged- I am sure you all missed me ;). It has been an absolute whirlwind time for Mood. This isn’t all bad though because in the past few months I have attended many exhibitions, courses and learnt so much which I cannot wait to share with you over the coming months.

Next week, Mood will be showcasing at Naidex from 28th-30th March at the NEC. We would love to see you there if you get a chance to visit us at Stand E61. We will be launching our brand and showing off our new fabric collection which I will give you more details on soon!!

However, the real focus of today’s blog is the fact we have be shortlisted for an award!!! We cannot explain how excited and proud we are to even be considered for the “2017 Naidex Changing Lives Award”. This award focuses on companies which have made an impact to people’s lives through the work they do.

Creating interiors for those in Care is something Mood is passionate about, we do what we do and focus our efforts on this sector because we are so driven to ensure those in Care have access to interiors like you and I would in our own homes. Whether it is residential care or supported living, these environments should be created for those with various physical and mental disabilities to enable them to live their lives to the fullest.

It is no secret that our motto is to create stylish and functional interiors for those in Care, and listening to the feedback from our previous clients really did prove to us that we are achieving what we set out to do- improve lives!!

One of the quotes which really touched our hearts came from a carer who supports a man with learning disability.

“His flat has been redesigned and decorated recently and many of the changes have had an appreciable impact on his wellbeing. The lighting has been replaced and redesigned and the brightness and quality of light is remarkable. I do believe that it has impacted on his mood, helping him feel better and more positive. The use of neutral colours has also helped him feel more relaxed, and the new furniture and simplified room layout has made moving around the flat easier for him”

Even if we don’t win this award, we are happy that the work we do really does impact the lives of the clients we create these environments for. Everyone deserves a place they can feel safe, comfortable and at home in. We cannot wait to continue this work with others soon!
